  1. What do you normally use to clean your hot tub?

    1. What do I use to clean chemicals that have made their way into the clear plastic knobs with lights, creating a dry weathered white fog effect?

  2. Hi there. I stored away my inflatable hot tub, only to open it this season and find black mold all around it. No natural cleaning solution seems to do the trick. Any product recommendations or am i out of luck.

    1. @Spencer Vrouhas let me know if you find a solution sometime. Good luck.

    2. Shawn Denty
Yep it got some stuff out. But there is more left that will not come off!

    3. Also saw a response to another question and it was a mix of vinegar borax and oxiclean…. for mildew stains

    4. Did you try the magic eraser?

  3. How to clean bottom of Intex hot tub that has mold or mildew

  4. The magic eraser also gets ride of scum lines

  5. What should I use on the underside of my swim spa cover? I bought it from someone who hadent used it in some time and its got big black mildew spots and smells bad. I was thinking of a watered down bleach.

    1. Frank Mortensen bleach doesn’t actually kill mold. Use diluted vinegar, borax, or hydrogen peroxide (Oxi-Clean works).

  6. Thank you!

  7. What is best technique for doing filters with Vinagar I would Assume first pre rinse then Soak with Vin&water Mixture an hour? then rinse again and install?

  8. I think I would add a disclaimer for warranty hot tub owners so your viewers know what the manufacture recommends to not invalidate their warranty.

    1. @Swim University thank you for the useful information I appreciate it. I used the olive oil to clean the top and did an amazing job. I even had a little extra to make some pasta salad.lol.
