  1. Good

  2. thank you for posting this . would you happen to know if any essential oil will cause warming or tingling sensation the skin?

  3. Hi im from bombay India Ive read the essential notes on Google n written down the article..very informative n they also give different blends n recipes..hope it helps me

  4. Could you give a listing of all the top note scents, middle note scents and bass note scents?  If not, where could such a list be found?

    1. @lmturmenne  oil that are more volatile  disperse faster in air .for this  lemograss and eucalyptus are same top notes. while woody and bark oils stays longer with the residue like sandal wood

    2. Aroma always matters!
Yes, I do mix my blends using a glass jigger and that works very well for me.

One thing I am suprized at is that Lemongrass is listed as a top note, but everytime I’ve used it is so overpowers the fragrance of every other oil.
So I wonder…. is the weight of the oil the only criteria for claiming placement?  I would list Lemongrass as a middle or even base note.  That’s why it’s so confusing to me.

Should these oils be aired out before using them?  Would that allow the blend to mellow or ripen to its fullest aroma?

30:50:20 is gud combination if purpose is only aromatherapy and blending is  with three oils. if it is purly therapeutic benefit and smell doesnt matter you can choose your own proportion depending on your skin and targeted cure..when blending use suitable carrier oil which is very important to meet your skin tone.  sometime its smel could overpower the essential oil’s smell. so select the carrier oil that dont have much smell when blending.. earlier i used coconut and it wasnt gone well interms of smell. but it is good when adding essential oil that has citrus , that is lemon, bergamot etc because those tent to oxidise fast and coconut oil got anti-oxidant. begin with v small quantity and see how smell goes in a small test bottle

    4. Thank you so much.  This has confused me and scent is so very important in every beauty and health product we will make.  I’m just beginning to learn about all this stuff and I want to get good instruction.
