  1. Just did it my self worked great thank you!!

    1. I’m so glad it could help!

  2. As someone who’s had many many dogs, I use white vinegar, dish soap, and water to clean our pet stains. It works very well, and helps get rid of the smell. It might be because we have different carpets, but I’ve seen others use it as well.

    1. Little Lady Oh, that does sound like a good idea. Idk why but everyone uses salt for everything from slime, to stains, to everything lol. I’ll use that for the future 🙂

    2. I thank you for your feedback. I added salt to your recommendation and recipe. Have a nice day

  3. What I use it’s pretty weird but it does the job I use baking soda dish soap, lemon and salt mix those all together put over baking soda and then I wait five minutes and brush with a tooth brush for 2 minutes then I vaccum

  4. I just peed all over my dog and carpet this video is just what I was looking for thanks for the useful tips just hope the dog doesn’t turn a nice blonde from the hydrogen peroxide and washing up liquid bath I’m going to give him 😀

  5. Does the hydrogen peroxide discolor darker carpet?

    1. @Jessica L. Fisher The Furry Family Coach Ok, thanks. I tried the Windex idea and it bleached the area.

    2. every carpet is different. it is possible, so check a spot that isn’t very visible before using it on a larger spot

  6. What a great video! I love DIY recipes like this too! Thanks so much!!

    1. Thanks for watching!

  7. Very well .
    Thank you.

  8. Looks like it bleached it.. should have used vinegar instead of peroxide..

  9. This isn’t great advice I’m afraid. Uric crystals need to be broken down with acid, not alkaline. You need a shopvac to remove the moisture you’re introducing, not a towel. Why are you using so much baking soda? Finally you are using a frankly LUDICROUS amount of dish soap and not rinsing it out?

  10. Use oxy clean, all this soda and vinegar does not work. Oxy clean and Ajax dish soap, Ajax cuts grease.

  11. It doesn’t look clean , epic fail

    1. Its actually cleaner than the surrounding carpet – so yes, still a bit of a fail lol! I will be putting out a new video soon on this topic, so I’ll let everyone know when it’s out!

  12. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving! 🐶

    1. Happy Thanksgiving!

  13. If your considering this method I would recommend testing this formula inside a cupboard or on a scrap of carpet first.
And check it after 7 days.
If you do this on pure wool carpet you will permanently bleach it. Technical term. chemical burning. Peroxide is very risky if you don’t 100% remove it after a few minutes.

  14. Worked great on dirty greasy stain. Thanks.

    1. How’s it look now?

    2. awesome! I’m glad it could help

  15. It just left a huge yellow stain. Glad I didn’t use this!!!

    1. because you have used it on WOOL or natural fiber which is very sensitive to BAKING SODA which is a very strong alkaline . Best to call a professional for advice at least .

    2. did you soak up as much as you could with paper towels first?

  16. Get a wet towel, very hot water and smonia. Wet the stain with very hot water, spray it with the ammonia. Place the wet towel on top and set the iron on it. Don’t leave for too long. Repeat till stain is gone. That’s the only thing I have found that removes pet stains.

    1. Cloudy ammonia is commonly used in heat transfer stain removal for coloured liquids ie drinks. But for dog urine stains you need to use hydraulic acid diluted 20/1. The Acid will dissolve the urine crystals which give the yellow appearance. And dissolve the odour. And no this will not bleach your carpet wool Or nylon blends.

    2. I’ll have to try that!

  17. Does that also remove the smell??

  18. I didn’t see that the carpet was very clean after you finished. I could still see slight yellowing and it looked like it needed more work. Sorry!

    1. Yep, I saw the yellow too. I was told never to apply hydrogen peroxide to fabric because it does lighten.

  19. It doesn’t work

  20. I might as well take out all of my furniture out of my room and put this solution over every single part of my room

    1. I live in a studio apt and that is literally what I’m doing hahaha

  21. Peroxide can remove the color of your carpet

    1. Yes, that’s why you should test it on a small area of carpet that is out of the way, like in a corner or under your sofa.

  22. as a carpet cleaner i have tried to clean out rocks of baking soda from a carpet… moisture and baking soda in your carpet sets up like concrete once its in there… keep that in mind… this guys carpet was uneven, crunchy, and stained white.

  23. If they cant control there piss
    They find food water outside
    And we dont wory anymore

    1. morbid yep…you are correct my friend!! Double dick douche to be exact!

    2. Shatania Fender heehee…you missed one “worry” 🤣

    3. You need to be banned from ever owning a pet. Hopefully your neighbors will call the ASPCA if you do!

    4. Are you saying just dump the dog outside somewhere??? And no they don’t find food and water. What is wrong with you??? Make sure the dog gets plenty time outside and they wont mess in the house. I’ve owned dogs all my life and never had a problem!

    5. Shut the fuck up

  24. Does this work on old pet stains?

    1. I have used it on old stains and it has worked, sometimes if it’s really bad you may have to try more than once or let it sit longer

  25. Hi I was wondering were u can get the large bottle of dawn that u r using

    1. I think the larger bottles we got from Costco, but there are good deals on Amazon too >>>
