  3. How much Borax in recipe #2?

  4. I like him lol

  5. i read hydrogen peroxide has to be in a dark container other wise the disinfecting component dissipates..

    1. Yes, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) reduces quickly to water (H2O) in the presence of light. I don’t know how quickly it happens, but you are 100% correct that it needs to be in a dark container.

  6. Environmental living = frugal living = low costs A win win all round. Thanks!

  15. Can you use baking soda instead of borax

    1. @shereen lalla Yes, I use 1 tbsp.

  16. Hi Allen, great ideas. Just a couple of questions. How much borax do I need for the second cleaner? and is it safe for all kind of surfaces?

  17. great idea!

  18. Excellent, thanks!!

  19. Is it ok to use on granite counters?

    1. Melissa Velasquez do not use on granite. For granite try this: I make for myself and my mom. And been doing it for years. In the same type of plastic bottle from the video, pour equal parts water and alcohol and about three to five drops of whatever concentrated dish soap you use. You can also add any essential oils if you wish, but it’s not necessary. About 40 drops of essential oil. Hope this helps.
