  1. Happy, Healthy and Free I always remember that word. For more searching find the Herb’s that can create a new growth hair.Hyper active Rob thanks for nice educational view.God Bless You

  2. 😍😍😍😍😍😍

  3. dipping your balls in the ocean and air drying dont kill bacteria
    wash your ass son

  4. Thanks for the reminder about EWG, I had bookmarked them but had forgotten about them. I use only a few ‘products’ and I am trying to reduce these. After checking all of the ingredients of my shampoo, I won’t be buying that any more. I will switch to a natural shampoo bar which has an ingredients list that is much shorter than the liquid shampoo and a much lower score on EWG skin deep!

  5. And, as a man, you don’t bleed once a month … just saying, it’s a little easier for you. But still — totally on point about natural products.

    1. Moon cup or organic cotton products.

  6. Plastic or Bamboo toothbrush?

  7. I gave up everything too! I only keep a little bit of soap in case I need it and wash everything else with sodium bicarbonate (good to clean clothes, the house and disinfect the toilet). As a vegan without any addictions (also no preserved drinks, and food apart from rice and pasta) I never smell but that happens after you have cleansed your body which can take a few years. Unfortunately, even coffee and tea are not good for us. Stick to water and eventually freshly made vegetable or fruit juice. Good luck on your journey home everyone!

  8. I stopped washing and shaving my coochie 3 years ago for a more natural feel and now it’s like a jungle with it’s own ecosystem. I wear a bikini to the beach and the hairs are sticking out everywhere. It’s just out of control now.

    1. Sounds like you’re a dude, in reality. Mother Palm and her five daughters losing their appeal hey?

  9. I gave up toothpaste years ago and only use baking soda now. A large bag of it will last me over a year.

  10. Yeah man, my skin got much happier when I stopped using soap for anything but my hands and showered less. Less dry/itchy unless I shower daily, hot water can strip the skin all by itself. But once in a while seems to be fine. During the summer I’m all about swimming in a clean mountain lake nearby instead of showering, feels so good. Or the colder forest streams for a rush or when it’s really hot. The less I shower, the less I stink. Full agreement on diet changing your stink, coffee and alcohol do it for me big time.

Just bought a fishing license, excited to gather more of my diet from the land than last year. Getting pretty good at gardening, trout from clean waters would add so much nutrition. I have a friend who guides, be fun to go out there this summer and learn to fish. That’d make winter more interesting, I could happily ice fish to kill time. There’s a beautiful satisfaction to gathering food directly, it’s enough to draw me away from youtube, put the things I’ve learned here to practice.

  11. I tell everyone this. I even asked my dentist, he said we don’t really need toothpaste, it’s just for flavor. You can also do oil pulling with the same coconut oil.

  12. I wanna have your butt baby!

  13. Ur mad brother

  14. hmmm, I too have cut down on a lot of so-called hygiene products. but I don’t live somewhere where I can take a dip in the ocean everyday.

  15. I mean….the old ages didn’t get to take showers soOo…

  16. I started to make my own toiletries with natural ingredients, such as body lotion and toothpaste. I still buy shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but I’ve bought them all in bar form with no plastic packaging (either with paper or no packaging). Do you use sunscreen? What are your solutions to sun protections if you do or don’t?

  17. You’re so masculine and hot darling !!!! I love blond man !!!!

  18. You can make your own toothpaste with coconut oil and some baking soda :))

    1. But too much Baking soda is harmful

    2. Liza Allen You can also add a couple drops of eucalyptus, mint, peppermint, or lemon essential oil, for example. Charcoal can be added, too.

    3. Just those two things?

    4. Right

  19. If THAT is the total amount of soap you use and you use it only on your hands, prepare yourself for a massive infection. I suspect it will occur on your bare feet. We are surrounded by deadly bacteria and you are certain to eventually succumb to one of them.

    1. Danger danger! The sky has turned from blue to grey and is about to fall on us. HIDE! NOW!

    2. Total BS

    3. hahahahahahaha no

  20. I highly recommend a Norwex body cloth that cleans with only water. It has silver threads in it that kill bacteria as it drys, so your cloth is ready to use again. My husband loves it for a sponge bath. Also, we use Thai crystal deodorant spray or stone. We prefer the spray.

  21. Check out Miswak as a natural toothbrush!

  22. I always think about people who they lived before 300 or 400 years, they didnot use shampoo or condition just they made every things from nature for hygine

    1. yeah! one thing I’ve always wanted to try is a dust bath.

  23. Thanks, Rob!

  24. Thumbs
    up

    SIMPLE LIFE

  25. Hey man, thank you so much for these videos. I only found them today and am really inspired. Can you tell me more about how quitting alcohol was a game-changer for you? What exactly changed for you, physically and mentally?
And was it a difficult thing to do?

    1. +Castorp79 I plan to write a blog about that at some point and it will be up at
But basically my mind was much more clear, I wasn’t hung over all the time, I lost my beer belly, and saved a ton of money that I could use on better things. It was a transition and took changing my social life.

  26. Hipster dufus. No idea what he is talking about.

    1. Four years later and you look like the a-hole you are.

  27. yup – i use dr. bronners to clean everything – house, body, hair, dishes. 🙂 coconut oil for healthy skin indeed. look out for that jason’s toothpaste though – its NOT organic. it also has glycerine which isn’t good for teeth. 100% organic diet is key! i am not plant based tho. raw milk is good.

    1. Really Organic, We have non-dairy products(DELICIOUS!), Milk is cruelty to the sweetest of animals.Think-” Friends not Food” MERCY FOR ANIMALS(YOU TUBE).

  28. I like this idea and would like to try natural hygiene, but what if I don’t live near the ocean? How does a bucket bath work and how is it preferable to a low flow shower?

  29. rob! hey have u tried lime under arm?!? (real plain lime sub under your armpit (or lime juice) it worked a whole day! no oder at all! peace

    1. vacationboyvideos
      lime juice

  30. No shampoo for 3 years and my hair is doing great. the trick is to have short hair when you quit using it. it takes 1-3months to make your head skin get used to no shampoo and recover to natural state!

  31. I am a fan! What do you use to dish soap?

  32. FUck yeah!

  33. well done my friend, sat nam ji

  34. Natural diet = little toxins in body. less funk.

    1. Right on!

    2. @Mara VB thank u for your reply…I will deff go that route of eating more greens! 👍👌

    3. How long has it been like that? When I stopped eating meat 5 year ago, my body odor was bad too but I stopped after a few months. I read it could be your body detoxifying or simply changing it’s chemistry due to the shift in diet. You could try drinking liquid chlorophyll – I got my first bottle on iHerb, it’s affordable and flushes all the nasty stuff from the body, detoxifying it and acting as an “internal deodorant”. I did notice a big change in my body AND body odor after drinking it (you dilute it in water, of course, has no taste but looks black and weird). It’s 100% natural so I believe it won’t mess with the medications. You should ask your doctor before using it. Chlorophyll is naturally found in all plants, so you can boost up in plants in your diet, of course, eating sea vegetables, leafy greens, sprouts and hemp seeds if you don’t want to drink chlorophyll. Good look and I hope I helped. Cheers to Rob on the good videos.

    4. I been sweating and stinky lately bad! I thank it may be my meds! I was raw vegan and I swaer my armpit oder was 0 and now?!? yuck! I thank its my meds!

  35. In this discussion of hygiene , I noticed you didn’t mention anything about shaving , I only ask because I have a beard and was wondering about the maintenance of that living your life style ? thanks, love your channel and vids .

    1. @Rob Greenfield

I don’t know if I’ll get a reply considering the age of the thread, haha! But just curious, what do you do about shaving cream?

    2. @Michael G I use an electric razor, charged by my solar panel! I do personally like to keep my beard short.

  36. Are you concerned about all the pollution in the ocean especially in the San Diego area?

    1. Yes you’re right. Honestly the ocean can’t be badly polluted like the so called water we drink from the plastic bottles. Even though we make a significant horrible impact in polluting our ocean.

    2. ha ha!

  37. What about deodorant? Do you get smelly armpits? Do you make your own deodorant?

    1. joneslr25
you can use fresh lime juice efter shower just little bit .

    2. try rubiing a open lime or lime juce! under your arm pit

    3. +klausssi123 I assume you were not commenting to me but I thought I would add that I do not shave either. Anything. Is this to attract a man 🙂 I always kind of wondered if it worked both ways?

    4. shave armpits. Believe or not but the hair there is there to hold your personal scent to atract women..

    5. @Rob Greenfield I dont use it either. Deodorant , that is. I have not for about six years, I do not stink either.
