So grateful it exists in 2020.”

  5. I like your brand choices.. I would do a multi collagen. Dr Axe makes a good one.

  6. “I recommend this guide:

So grateful it exists in 2020.”

    1. Fake

  7. Do you have an updated routine?

  8. Vitamin B complex and lemon balm has been a life saver for me when it comes to stress and anxiety. I thought I was losing my mind.

    1. How did you feel by saying losing youโ€™re kind ,?

    2. What b complex do you take? ๐Ÿ˜„

  9. Refridiate them they stay fresh longer. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  10. ๐Ÿ˜

  11. This vitamin source is nothing but synthetic, why not take one from raw sources? Is it because you get a kickback?

  12. Thank you for this video, Ariel. Are you saying anxiety and depression can be cured by some vitamins and cooking oil? This can’t be serious

    1. Anxiety is a symptom not its own disease. Anxiety can happen any time the body knows something is wrong; could be a low mineral, low blood sugar, dehydration, lack of sleep….list goes on
Also the levels recommended is just enough to keep a person alive not keep them healthy so most of us have sun optional vit/min levels.

  13. Bulletproof coffee? You win… I’m hooked. So give me the recipe for this too ….. Pretty Please!!

  14. Great video by the way! Very informative and easy to listen to!

  15. I take Ashwagandha and L-Theanine for anxiety along with B Complex, B12, C, D3 and magnesium ๐Ÿ™‚ it helps quite a bit!

    1. How long you take it combine supplement
Can take it for long term?

  16. I take:

    – Metoprolol
    – Atovarstatin
    – Duloxetine
    – Clonazepam
    – Modafinil
    – Centrum
    – Kyolic Garlic
    – Ampalaya Capsule
    – Melatonin

  17. Bee Propolis sprays and drops are the best for allergies. I dont get sick too๐Ÿ’ƒthanks for sharing

  18. Hey hey, CNP here! love your channel! just a couple of side notes for you, just in case you didn’t already know ๐Ÿ™‚ . when you take vegetarian forms of omega-3, your body has to convert it to DHA and EPA (brain health, heart health, inflammation). The conversion rate is unfortunately super low, so as far as supplementing, you may be better off with fish oil. Hemp oil is still awesome though, it’s a great source of GLA (beneficial omega-6 and great for balancing hormones).

Also, DO NOT TAKE 5-HTP WHILE ON SSRIs – it can be very harmful.

    1. To add onto this, 5-htp is interactive with LOTS of medications. If anyone is thinking of taking it, I would recommend using drugs.com to check for Interactions!!!

  19. Have your supplements changed since this video?

  20. 5:20

  21. I cannot take vitamin A of any kind, not even the natural 1 โ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ I experience a BAD REACTION, bones become brittle & my joints will start cracking & popping loud enough to hear :'( โ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ. it scares me & the same thing has happened with calcium supplements but not as bad. Tried taking the calcium with vitamin K but same reaction. Dr.s don’t know what causes this either & don’t seem to know what kind of test to order to found out why. What is really strange is I can eat lots of carrots & feel fine, so I tried taking the plant based multi vitamins that have vitamin A in it, but with in a few days start having the same problem. The only med I take daily is Levothyroxine for Hashimoto.

  22. I work in a health food store in the vitamin department. You really need to try Ashwaganda! It will seriously change your life if you have issues with anxiety or anything mood altering feelings. Please please try it, there are sooo many people who find that amazing for their anxiety!

  23. You look a bit like Sandra bullocks and seriously sound like her you could be related

  24. No probiotic?

  25. Hi loved ur video. I have a doubt hope u will clear this you have mentioned 2 magnesium supplements 1 is jarrow magmind and other is pure encapsulation magnesium so wanted to know both r same magnesium. Do we have to take both , if both wat r the difference .waiting for reply

  26. Wouldn’t a pharmacist be better at giving advice on supplements than someone at health food store?

  27. B Complex. D3+Calcium and Flaxseed oil (Omega 3,6,9) all approved by My GP.

  28. Hi Niki! Do you know w here I can buy Vital Proteins in Toronto? Thank you! <3

  29. You need to try Terry Naturals Adrenaplex !

  30. Thank you! Iโ€™m glad I found your channel!!โ˜บ๏ธ

  31. Any tips on how to make this more affordable? I already take a b-complex, fish oil and proboitic but feel like I am spending so much money on supplements. This seems very costly.

  32. starts at 4:50

  33. Start with 50mg of 5 HTP. I started with 100 before bed and slept great but woke up with my mind in a slow motion that didnโ€™t go away for hours. 50mg is better and maybe Iโ€™ll eventually go back up. Start slow.

    1. Thatโ€™s scary!

  34. i swear on unfiltered apple vinegar

    1. i just drink it with some water

    2. love it! How do you take yours?

  35. Thatโ€™s a lot, but whatever works for you. Ya know?

  36. Love this video–it’s how I found you!

  37. I prefer vegetarian oils because fish oil makes me throw up

  38. It’s amazing that someone as focused and put together as you suffer/suffered from anxiety. I have my bouts, too. Ur strength is inspiring,)

    1. Thank you. Its crazy how many people deal with it but dont say anything. I want to start talking about it more.

  39. yay! I found the collagen you take:) I was actually already looking into this brand. You should try the new marine one!

  40. AOR is an acronym for Advanced Orthomolecular Research ๐Ÿ˜Š

  41. should definitely inform people about upper intake limits and toxic levels of certain nutrients from supplementation

    1. I know, but you know how people are, all lot will watch videos like this, even if the person in them says they must talk to a professional before starting a supplement regimen, they’ll end up not thinking it’s a big deal to add a few things here and there. just think next time it would be good to mention that there are toxic levels that can be met through supplementation.

    2. I made sure to express in the video multiple times to speak to a healthcare professional ๐Ÿ™‚

    3. Roselyn Zeyl that what I was thinking to especially taking the b- vitamins with a multivitamin way to much vitamins

  42. is the iron u take suitable for kids?

  43. I feel also a lot better when I take supplements ๐Ÿ™‚I think it’s super important to look at your molecular deficiencies because our body needs all the vitamins, ions etc. Just one thing I would recommend is to really take the supplements how they are indicated to have better results.
Love your videos by the way ๐Ÿ™‚

  44. Love your videos. If you can do a video on how to deal with stress and anxiety during work and after work, that will be lovely. Thanks in advance.

  45. You remind me a lot of Bethany mota, like an older version.

  46. can you pleaseeeeeee do a video about your filming process and equipment used? Your videos are always so great and done so quickly and its so inspiring!!

  47. I love taking vitamins myself but I’m worried that they would affect my kidneys in the long run

    1. You’re smart.
Selenium in high quantities are not good for us..can lead to poisoning. Another example is potassium. Kidneys can be affected by high potassium. People are pushing avacados and i love them but they are high in potassium so eating too much is not good for kidneys. There are too many people out there without credentials giving supplement advice that can adversely affect our organs. We can listen but we have to do our own research to be safe. ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. as long as you’re taking the right supplements in the right dose, drink plenty of water, and eat the right food, I’m sure your kidneys will be fine.

    3. I would speak to a doctor and maybe give your body a break once and a while if you’re really concerned.

  48. Thank you for sharing!! I am so happy you mentioned anxiety and stress and what supplements help!!

    1. Tammy Hill that’s what I usually do take them for maybe no more then 6 months then I go 6 months without taking them now that’s what I do u have to follow what’s best for u I have to be careful because I’m taking meds for my stomach

    2. happy to hear!!

  49. What is your friend’s IG?

    1. oops sorry its @connorlangehair ๐Ÿ™‚ He’s amazing! Tell him i sent you!

  50. can you talk about the absorbability of vitamins? i know i hear a lot about how little vitamins are absorbed into your body, but how do you know? for example, you said you take iron with VC to increase how much the iron gets absorbed so what are other tips/tricks regarding this?

    1. I mean usually I will listen to my body and try to figure out if I feel like a new vitamin is working for me or not otherwise I might change the brand or take it out entirely. As for absorption.. as a doctor or do some research because thats how I found out about the iron one with vitamin C or eating turmeric with black pepper, etc. Also some vitamins are best on an empt stomach while others need food.

  51. I like the video, but I don’t agree that you should avoid taking medication when sick and I don’t know if that’s something you should be spreading to your viewers. Natural preventative care is always best, but raw honey isn’t going to help cure you from a bad cold or flu! I agree that antibiotics are normally not needed, but medication exists for a reason.

    1. Colds and flus are viruses not bacteria so antibiotics wonโ€™t help; you Need a good antiviral solution and garlic , honey and oil of oregano will flush it out. Pharmaceutical drugs should only be used as a last resort !

    2. I’m not arguing that it doesn’t help, just saying that medication does have a place!

    3. Im not saying you should never take antibiotics but taking cough medicine, etc is jsut full of sugar and is usually jsut a numbing agent and does not actually heal your cold faster. Its important not to just reach for the quick fix products right away when they really often dont do anything to help the problem. Hydration, water, vitamins and sleep is the best thing you can do. And yes I do think that raw honey or this bee spray that i use can help cure a cold as its worked for me and friends and family time and time again. Real food has so many healing benefits to it if you give it a try ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope that helps clarify things a bit.

  52. Great video! I like that you are using natural products. When I am very stressed I will use L- Theanine, it works fast. Thanks for all of your great ideas!

    1. thank you for the feedback ๐Ÿ™‚

  53. Thank you for the video.

  54. Great video. I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for a long time and a good B complex and magnesium supplement really helped.

    1. Eileen Beal do you take the B100 before bed?

    2. I try to find one that has a combination of a few types of magnesium, magnesium glycinate seems to help me the best. I usually take it at night to help me sleep better.

    3. thanks Elleen ๐Ÿ™‚ Sorry to hear that but glad you’ve found supplements that have worked for you. What type of magnesium do you take? and do you take it at night or during the day?

  55. great video! Im pregnant and my midwife and I got together and made a supplement routine for me and I feel great! I think vitamins are so important! We also had our holistic doctor put together a vitamin routine for our children as well! Thanks for sharing! Its okay to have a lot of supplements! I go to so many homes and its sad because you see a medicine cabinet of pharm drugs, but no one complains about that!

    1. Joy Silas so which vitamins where you taking then

    2. so true! Thank you so much for this wonderful comment and best of luck with your pregnancy ๐Ÿ™‚

  56. do you not take a probiotic?

    1. not at the moment but I have in the past.

  57. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO A HEALTH FOOD STORE FOR IN DEPTH NUTRITION INFORMATION! Up until *very* recently I was the product specialist for such a store & while we are able to sell supplements in the US because of DSHEA, the Dietary Supplements Education Act, we are not allowed to prescribe supplements, rightfully so. I can’t speak for all stores, but we were trained by everyone from product reps to product formulators. That doesn’t by any means substitute professional medical advice! We don’t know your medical history. We don’t know how anything will interact with what you are currently taking. If we did, we wouldn’t be working at a retail store. It is alarming the amount of trust and personal information people are willing to give a complete stranger in an apron, in public.

    1. People working at those store are simply regular cashiers or customer service reps.

    2. Sorry I should of clarified, most of the main box health food stores in Toronto have qualified health professionals working there who can provide advice and health information. I agree you need to be careful about who you are asking. When in doubt go see a doctor ๐Ÿ™‚

  58. I store my vitamins in a basket too! I also work at a health store, so I take a borderline absurd amount of vitamins.

    1. I have spent months studying reducing anxiety at home and discovered an awesome website at Aghy magic method (look it up on google)

    2. oh thank god im not alone..

  59. As a healthcare professional – vitamins and supplements are not FDA regulated. There have been studies showing that for most supplements there are only trace amounts of what the label claims to have and a whole bunch of fillers. Because these brands are not regulated and tested the companies can put whatever they want in their label. Sometimes the supplements do not even contain what the label says at all. Please be very cautious, especially when taking several at a time. There is not enough evidence that supplements are needed- like you mentioned, the majority of vitamins and minerals come from food and yes, we don’t always have a great diet but the amounts needed are so small that true deficiencies are rare. Vitamin D and B12 are probably more common as well as iron, but I would not recommend to take them unless levels have been tested. And please do not take medical advice from salespeople at these stores – they want you to BUY this stuff so if course they will tell you that you need X, Y, Z. Only get advice from a professional. Love your recipe videos!

    1. Adriana Pratt in the United States supplements are regulated by the FDA. Look up DSHEA.

Also, buying from professional brands like Thorne ensures that you are getting pure and potent products. They have all raw materials third-party tested to make sure there are not contaminants.

    2. Thank you for your feedback. Sorry when I said people working at the health food stores I meant ones that are health practitioners. In Toronto most of the big box health food stores have qualified professionals providing advice which is super helpful. I agree everyone should be tested like I was before they start taking just a bunch of vitamins. Thanks for watching ๐Ÿ™‚

  60. You’re so pretty!

    1. aw thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

  61. Hi there! I just stopped by your channel and discovered some of your really awesome healthy recipes that I think would definitely be fun to try and wanted to tell you that Jesus loves you soย very much and gave His life on the cross for our sins! {John 3:16; Rom.10:9} I pray that if you do not know Him as your Lord and Savior that you would discover a beautiful relationship with Him! <3<3<3

  62. I’m glad you said that not all vitamins are created equal and that not everyone needs to take the same vitamins. It’s so important to talk to a medical professional or do a lot of research before starting a supplement. Great video!

    1. Thank you!! I felt like I have to say it a bunch of times just to make sure people didnt think I was saying everyone needs it but people have been asking my opinion about it and what I take so I wanted to share ๐Ÿ™‚

  63. How do know whether it is safe to mix supplements/vitamins? it seems like a lot of people say we shouldn’t mix them but you take the mutlivitamin, magamind, 5 htp after lunch

    1. By mixing I dont mean you cant take a bunch at the same time for example after lunch I mean certain types of vitamins might not work best together or with medication you are already taking. Talk to a doctor to be sure ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. Kaggie604 She said in the video that she’s talked to a variety of health care professionals to ensure her vitamin routine is safe. If you’re concerned about your own vitamin/supplement routine and any potential interactions, then you should talk to your doctor or another qualified health care professional.

    3. Kaggie604 those are all things that are natural and found in the foods we eat and 5 HTP is a precursor to serotonin which is already in our body/brain so you’ll be ok. Think about the many prescription meds that people take and mix for the various conditions they have. Yes they have been studied but even after all those studies, years later they’ll still find a nasty negative side effect and the drug gets recalled…shame!

  64. I will have to look into the ones that you take for anxiety.

    1. let me know if it helps you out ๐Ÿ™‚

  65. this is exactly the video i’ve been waiting for!

    1. so happy!!

  66. I used to take a ton of supplements but have cut it down over the years. First of all, I like to buy high quality and I was literally spending hundreds of dollars a month. It was crazy! Now, instead of spending so much on vitamins, I’m more into taking Ayurvedic herbs (adaptogens). Holy basil and ashwaganda are great for anxiety.

    1. I know what you mean. I had to remove some overly priced ones as well from my routine. And yes Holy basil and ashwanganda are amazing. I sometimes drink holy basil tea but havent in a while.. I should get back into it.

  67. Very informative, thanks for sharing. I totally know what you mean, there are so many you can take these days, it can get a bit ridiculous and you have to be strong to reduce it down to a manageable amount I find!

    1. haha yes! Thats why there are so many in my basket that I dont take anymore. Sometimes its trial and error to find the right routine.

  68. Than you for sharing your thoughts on this, very interesting!

    1. happy you enjoyed it ๐Ÿ™‚

  69. Does anyone know of great plant-based collagen powder? Let me know! x

    1. I think Vital Proteins has a plantbased one as well. Check their website ๐Ÿ™‚

  70. This is so helpful! I’ve been following a pescatarian diet since January & am looking to take more then just my daily multi. I am deff going to check out your recommendations for anxiety – thanks so much!

    1. so happy you found this video helpful ๐Ÿ™‚

  71. Thanks for sharing!! Just wondering why take the hemp oil instead of hemp seeds? Is there a difference?

    1. I take both not always everyday but depending on what I am eating. For example if Im having oatmeal or granola I would use the hemp hearts ๐Ÿ™‚

  72. Thanks for this video!!ย  I’m always interested to see what someone specializing in good health takes for vitamins and supplements.ย  I also love to see the brands.ย  You hair and makeup look great too!!

    1. @HealthNut Nutrition
      Tasmiah Islam Proma

    2. happy you enjoyed and thank you, I’ve been loving the fresh look as well ๐Ÿ˜€

  73. Love your new hair cut!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. thanks Girl!!

  74. Thanks so much do this Video it’s so informative

    1. so happy to hear!

  75. Can you make a video on how you eat your supplements? I have spirulina, but it is the most disgusting thing I have tasted, haha. So I would be really interested to see how you eat your supplements๐Ÿ˜Š

    1. trust me get the Hawaiian brands its soo much better and doesnt taste gross! I hide it in my green smoothies ๐Ÿ™‚ I have lots of recipes on the channel just search smoothies on my homepage ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. just put a teaspoon in ur smoothies ๐Ÿ™‚ i prefer chlorella cause its much healthier. also moringa powder is amazing.

    3. I know you mentioned some ways, but I would love to see some recipes๐Ÿ˜Š

  76. I’ve dealt with anxiety most of my life and was on an SSRI for years but decided to get off it about 2 years ago. I heard about L-Tryptophan and it has been so helpful with managing anxiety!! I swear by it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    1. L-tryptophan turns into 5htp. Take 5htp

    2. Thanks for your comment. I am glad that most people I have spoken to in person have sworn by it. This comment is also reassuring. I plan to get some today and speak to my doctor about it.

    3. Happy to hear you are working to manage it more naturally. It can be hard at times as not every day is perfect but I hope you’re feeling good ๐Ÿ™‚

  77. Do you drink probiotics?

    1. HealthNut Nutrition I can’t believe you just said drug addict. some of us do need to take prescribed medication.

    2. Not at the moment but I have in the past taking a probiotic supplement. I really want to start making my own coconut yogurt ๐Ÿ™‚

    3. Mrs. Perez nothing better than yogurt to get your daily probiotic dose

  78. Your haircut looks great on you!

    1. thank you! I’m LOVING it ๐Ÿ™‚

  79. Very useful video as usual. Thank you so much. I also appreciate if you could also advise or make a video for college students to help them with daily nutrition and supplements. supplements that also help with concentration and focus. As you said we always want to go as natural as possible. All the best to you.

    1. thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I will def have some student videos coming in the fall! If you’re on a budget I would try and get most of your nutrients from a good multi and your food!

  80. Love this video!!! Thanks so much for finally posting it โค another supplement I find is crucial to take is a probiotic ๐Ÿ‘Œ I’m definitely going to try the vital proteins

    1. HealthNut Nutrition I put green vibrance vibrant health probiotic in my daily smoothie. Since I started using them, I never get sick. My husband got the flu and I never caught it. I also take coq10 and use a liquid vitamin D.

    2. Yes it’s so helpful I’ve been taking them for almost 4 years now! Found it really help with my skin, anxiety and overall just better health ๐Ÿ™Œ definitely suggest doing some research on the benefits and which brand would work best for you! Your overall health is dependent on the health of your gut ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

    3. you’re very welcome! youre right I need to start taking a probiotic again.. what benefits do you mostly find from it? Do you notice a difference when you stop taking it?

  81. love your hair๐Ÿ˜˜

    1. thank you!

  82. If a multivitamin has all the vitamins you need, why do you need to take separate vitamins like vitamin d or b?

    1. Also, B vitamins are extremely water soluble. Essentially, if your body doesnโ€™t use it right away, youโ€™ll expel it (pee it out) so you need to replenish B vitamins more than most other vitamins.

    2. Because if you go to the Dr. And they tell you your low in something your gonna have to take it to get the full benefits

    3. Exactly what Kelsey said, depending on how much of a particular vitamin you need a multi might not have enough in it alone so you can top it off with a vitamin specific to one type.

    4. Bryana Camille Braxton multivitamins rarely have as much as you need. Especially for vit d and calcium

    5. Bryana Camille Braxton if you read the back, it doesn’t always have 100 percent. you also don’t absorb everything.
