  1. I love the color of your dress ❀️

  2. Is that the konmari method you use when you fold your clothes

    1. I use it for some clothes. But it’s probably not as precise.

  3. I think you are amazing! I just came across your channel. I am a small YouTuber but I live it! I binged watched you 😻

  4. u did all that in an hour?!?! wow!

  5. Thanks for sharing Lynette. I enjoyed watching the video. I’m watching all your old videos to catch up.

  6. I have glasses similar to yours, but girl….unadorned without them You are so beautiful !!! Blessings

  7. I just recently started watching your channel and I love you speed cleaning videos it has inspired me to start organizing and cleaning more.

  8. Can I make the Applesauce Jell-O with a different flavor besides Strawberry? My oldest has a Strawberry allergy. I was thinking maybe cherry instead?
    Melissa

    1. I’m sure you could! Whatever sounds good to you!

  9. How did you do that decoration at the bottom of your skirt?
BTW that colour looks good on you β™₯οΈπŸ‘‰πŸ»

    1. MommyOnaBudget Lia Goossen it’s actually just some boughten lace ☺️ I just sewed it on top

  10. Non related but can you do a parenting video sometime! Like how you discipline and teach your children obedience etc πŸ™‚ I love your dress in this video too!!

  11. Hi Lynnette. I have been watching for a while and subscribed of course quite a while ago. I find you very easy to listen to. I love your home. You have a flair for decorating without going over the top. Just beautiful. The boys room is a true little boys room. I really like the embroidery you were sent for the boys. Such an easy scripture to remember for the little ones and a great place to start. You however remind me of the Proverbs 31 woman. I wonder would you consider doing some baking one day? Even incorporating your Mum into it and cook some Yoder recipes? I would love to see that or even a trip to a quilting store if that is an interest. Oh! I am Jocelyn and I live in Australia. I am of Christian faith but could could very easily live your way. After 19 yrs married my husband came to me and told me he is gay. Our 2 boys were still quite young and he left us and our faith for that lifestyle and I have raised the boys since. They are 24 and 22. The eldest has studied Psychology and is working and the youngest is about to finish his 4th yr of medicine.

    1. Jocelyn Lovelady Bless your heart dear lady!! πŸ™πŸ» you are a strong women!! ❀️

  12. Your home is beautiful! Thanks for the motivation!

  13. Cool!

  14. Great video! Power hours are motivation for me to do the same! I’ll go watch Annette’s now.

  15. I’m confused … I thought Mennonite & Amish people always grew their own gardens, & eat lots of ORGANIC food ……….. but you used a store bought commercial mix that has a lot of artificial colors & chemicals in it.Β Β  Also how does someone become part of a Mennonite or Amish community ??

    1. Sandi Tollette πŸ˜„. Yes a lot of Amish and Mennonites do grow a lot of food- but by far not always! You’ve probably seen it portrayed that way but don’t believe everything you hear πŸ˜‰. And we are not a cult or something like that. You could start by finding a local church and then talking to the ministers there.. You can also watch the Q&A that we did here on my channel a few months ago… we talk about some things there.. πŸ˜‰

  16. What in the world is applesauce jello?! Did you come up with that yourself? I’ll have to try that out one day! Most of the time, I have my son pick up his toys before he takes a nap. Then the house is clean for the second part of the day. I loved your house tour. You have a beautiful home. I love your modest dress as well. It’s very refreshing to see you on youtube. Happy you are here!

    1. Going to make this next week (I hope)!!! So excited to try it. I am going to make it with Cherry Jell-O. I will come back and let you know how it turns out!! Thanks again for sharing!!!
      Melissa

    2. +FoolyLiving thank you!! No I didn’t – the jello came from an Amish/Mennonite cookbook. I may need to do a video sometime but it’s so easy it’s barely worth it πŸ˜€

    3. FoolyLiving πŸ˜„ nope I didn’t come up with it. It’s 2 1/4 cups water. 1 cup strawberry jello. 1 quart applesauce. Mix it together and bring to a boil. Top with cool whip.. ☺️

  17. This came up in my feed. I enjoyed watching you. I also liked the shorter bristle broom. I think I need one of those. LOL. Where did you find it?

    1. +Maw Maw Karen sorry I never saw this! I buy them from ‘amish’ type stores – bulk foods, or variety stores. I forget the name. And yes they are the best!

  18. You were so thorough and an hour for me would not do it. Admire you so much. Thank you for sharing.

  19. I have never seen apple sauce jello do u just cook together and what kind of jello do u use for it?

    1. Chelsey Bates I don’t have the measurements with me right now.. but It’s just applesauce and jello – red is Normally what I use. I think that’s all it calls for but I may be forgetting something.. if I think about it later I will try and tell you.. πŸ˜‰

    3. Lynette Yoder I love your dress I also question me why you have a veil on your hair and why you wear long dress and I read your comment excuse for my English I am French Your house is beautiful and you are very organized so I subscribe and I like how you talk

    4. Lynette Yoder ah i see iam muslim woman and i wear hijab a veil to proove devotion to GOD and also try to wear clean modest clothes coz our role on this earth is to worship god not to show off our status and lifestyle to others….i i

    5. Sorry! I didn’t see your comment I guess! We are Mennonite. Also Born again christians. And we try to dress modestly ☺️ also we wear a veil because we try to live out what the Bible teaches in 1 Corinthians 11 about a women covering her head as a sign of submission to God/our husbands or Dads etc.. If you’re not familiar with the passage I’d encourage you to read it if you’re interested ☺️. also we did a Q & A here and answer some questions about mennonites and Amish .. hope that helps!

  35. Great motivator, I have to admit I have not seen anyone wear a long dress to clean the house before lol.:-)

    1. Nete Hope your dress is too cute to wear while doing housework

    2. Nete Hope πŸ˜„. Ha ha! I guess it’s just something I’m used to! We grew up always wearing dresses for everything.. softball, volleyball, sports of any kind I suppose, so I don’t really give it a second thought ☺

  39. Might I ask where you buy your clothing? I have had trouble finding clothing that is humble and modest. Thankyou and God bless.

    1. I just found your channel yesterday and I love it.Β  I would really love to see a video of how you make your dresses.Β  Of course if you have time.Β  : )Β  thank you for sharing.

    2. Julia Perry Well I actually sew my own dresses.. and then just buy sweaters, shirts etc. But I agree .. it is hard to find a lot of modest clothing these days.. 😏

  40. Just joined Annette and your channel. You have a great home!

    1. Cynhtia Bedolla awesome!!!

  44. Your home is beautiful! I love watching these kind of videos. It makes me more motivated to get up and clean!

  45. good job

  46. This is going to sound batty, but hear me out. LOL I bought a new plastic garden rake specifically for the purpose of managing toy explosions. If it’s on hardwood or tile, you can use of broom of course, but carpet.. UGH. Rather than spending 20 minutes picking up every piece of shrapnel, I use the clean/new rake to get them all into a pile to be sorted all at once. #momhack

    1. missamanda1025 great hack. Thanks

    2. missamanda1025 😁 Hey now that is a pretty good idea!! I saw someone do that in a basement once with a big push broom after a ‘toy explosion’ πŸ˜„ Thanks for the tip tho! I do want my children to learn to clean up after themselves, however they obviously don’t always help me .. ☺

  47. I love doing power hours….I end up getting so much done. Your video was great as always. πŸ™‚

  57. Nice video. I love the decor in your home

  58. Great Job! Loved your video… Thanks for doing the collab with me! Was so fun! I haven’t ever heard of applesauce jello… Does it just taste like jello then??

    1. Annette’sLife thanks and you’re welcome! Well I’d say it’s more dense than jello plus the texture is different.. imagine applesauce but just in a jello form.. I think you should be able to find a recipe in some Amish cookbooks .. but I think it’s like 2 cups water, 4 cups applesauce and 1 cup jello? Bring to a boil then cool in fridge. Top with whipped topping if you like.. ☺

  59. Good job ladies! Fun to watch! 😊
