  1. Is that 4 parts Tide to one part water or the other way around (for cleaning black automotive upholstery)?

    1. @sammie mack Thank You!
      Stay Well…

    2. 4 parts water to one part tide

  2. Also, K2R is a much different type of “Spot Lifter”. Spray’s on as a liquid, and turns to a white powder that you brush off. Amazing stuff for stains on clothes or fabric.

  3. TIDE….. also makes a “Free & Gentle” (perfume free powder or liquid ). I buy the powder at Walmart since I don’t like the perfumes and it does not sud. I’m curious about using it for a general carpet cleaner that does not have an odor problem.

Also, I’m wondering about using Calgon liquid water softener with other types of cleaners for the carpet/upholstery someday.

(“Calgon Water Softener boosts the power of your laundry detergent by removing hard water minerals which trap dirt into fabric fibers. Plus, it removes detergent build-up and soap scum that cause clothing to appear dull and faded.”)

“CALGON TAKE ME AWAY” …..LoL. See vid’s of old TV commercial from the 70’s!!!

  4. My dear sir, please let me ask you, i can see a lot of your videos using Tide, from your experience with this product do you face any problems with residue remain? I was wondering because in a normal use on laundry machine , we are using only 20-30ml of product for 4-5kg of clothes and the machine itself uses  A LOT of water, in many water cycles to wash out the clothes from the product residue,
so i was wondernikg if just mapping up the Tide, do yoy noticed and residue issues????

    thanks

  5. Man i went with the Tide this weekend. It’s the best thing out there. luv it. Thanks for the video.

  6. Dude, u totally MISSED the spot with the Tide cleaner thats why it had that stain there still smh lol

  7. You didn’t use the Spot Shot as the manufacturer suggests. I just used some today on a spot that has set in to carpet. As always it did an amazing job.

    1. I agree. It worked amazing on our car and we didn’t scrub.

  8. Can I use Tide with an extractor ?

    1. Thnks Brian 🙂

    2. Absolutely….1 ounce per every 2 gallons

  9. When you say 4:1 ratio what would the 4 be? The detergent or the water?

    1. He just answered me, it’s Four parts water to one part Tide. There’s a part in the video where he mentions thinning out Tide just enough for it to spray. I was confused by that too.

  10. You didn’t show the tide side you didn’t go over far enough no one caught that

  11. I use windex non amonia for spot cleaning my clothe seats WORKS awesome !

    1. A wonderful tip. See… no need for expensive detailing products.

  12. I’m not sure why blotting is so popular with detailing. Why isn’t hot water extraction the go to? Does it degrade the fabric? Seeing that brown/dirty water extracted seems the ideal way to go.

    1. Not everybody who details has the money to invest in an extrator.

    2. Apex Detail I disagree. If you don’t use an extractor, all your doing is spreading the chemical and grease out to a thin and unseeable sheen. I’d rather have wet carpets than leaving chemicals soaking into fabric. Sorry Apex, I love your channel but the extractor idea is one I seriously disagree witho

    3. I sold my extractor. Over saturates the interior causing more headaches than its worth.

  13. Brian, not sure if you’ve ever heard of superior products or not, but I stumbled onto them and bought their stain lifter, $15.00 a gallon and holy shit, this stuff is good.
Just started using it in the shop the other day.
I’m going to email them and tell them how good it is and I was going to suggest to them that they should send you some to review for your followers..
They are out of Illinois in case you want to research them

    Hope all is well.
    Appreciate all your help.

    1. Havent had the pleasure! Open to anything as you know!👍🏻. I have the Matrix spot removal products.

  14. Thank you sir

  15. Just picked up vehicle today that has water rings from a recent shampooing. Customer bought it that way. She asked if I could detail for her. Will cold water Tide work for this?

    1. This works perfectly for that problem👉🏻

      I have it…. just apply… and blot dry👍🏻

  16. Went out today to buy tide cold water clean 😉 thanks for your amazing videos

    1. Nice! Here are some ratios…. 10:1 on seats. 4:1 on carpet. For just removing bad odors like smoke.. 20:1

  17. I’ve really been diggin’ Optimums carpet and fabric cleaner. There really is some kind of technology in this stuff…seems to work almost like ONR in that it lifts the dirt and encapsulates it. After I spray it and agitate, most of the dirt literally just disappears…and whatever is left just wipes up effortlessly. Dries quickly, leaves no residue. It’s actually a joy to work with, and makes carpet cleaning almost fun. Works like nothing else I’ve ever used on fabrics.

    1. Indeed… I use it on really tough stains, but its not economical to use daily. I will cover that one as well when I have time.

    2. Seconded. Stuff isn’t cheap but it sure does work.

  18. How will you’ll compare this product against LAs Totally Awesome on how it performs and the price fairness.

    1. I will review Totally Awesome soon. It works well at full strength on stains. Good price as well👍🏻
