  1. This test should be done with in the same property.

  2. Nice guitar soundtrack

  3. Lol mine has a button I push and it literally retracts itself… I’m faster than both of these guys 😂😂 was this a literal joke?… I would have had 3 rooms presprayed already too before they even started

    1. Retrieving Wealth this was a race between “professional” carpet cleaners. Scroll along to find your Splash & dash channel. 😁

  4. I watched this a couple years ago, who’s watching in 2019? give a thumbs up!!!!

  5. This was classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

  6. This video makes no sense whatsoever. Any professional knows that speed is not necessarily better. No shoe covers tracking in dirt all over the place. There is no point for this video at all.

  7. I guess Rob was the CHAMIPION…?

  8. Umm .. rob is next to the house.. and the other guy is 50 feet further

  9. I say Mike because he broke down everything and put it away compared to rob

  10. Professional vs. Non-Professional

    1. Clean Sweep Services Rob won fair a square….but as far as being “professional”….go back and watch the video. Remember that my runners were laid across hardwood and corner guards in place. Additionally carrying hose to farthest point and laying out insures a spot on setup without any touching of walls or dirt being transferred onto hoses. Robs setup was faster but figure 8ing hose through a clients home means yer clipping walls and corners with hose….plus Robs set up was 6-8 feet short of farthest point. That means he either had to re pull another 8 feet of hose and pressure line….or simply not clean the area he couldn’t reach. So yea….in terms of “professional”…..there’s no question as to whom won THAT portion

  11. Audience Don’t forget, this business requires a lot effort , talking about mental and physical must updated you customer services periodically and physical following safety rules… the way Mr. Camacho run this business 100% retired soon with liability issue..
    Play smart fellas..

    1. Big Lou Always wait until yer sober again before commenting 🤣

  12. Agony of defeat

  13. I like mike and robs teqnique really cool video 👍

  14. both methods are slow as fuck. jeez

    1. and also wear shoe booties next time, and when disconnecting a hose, dont do it in the middle of someones hall

  15. except you can’t drag the hose like ROB did, that was a disqualifier (paint scratches)

  16. After this battle, I see I need a “Rob” or hose reels. Amazing.

  17. I carry 6 airmovers, 175, pop up table, T-Rex , 360, vacuum , toolbox and sprayers …. sometimes my multiwash or Cimex also…
A hose reel isn’t an option for my particular business model.

  18. We weren’t parked in the driveway cuz the contest was for 150 feet. It wasn’t an actual set up at clients homes

    1. You did a great job! I took notes

  19. How many negative points for running solution line across the front lawn. That will burn a line into the owners grass.

    1. Christopher Sines it was his own yard and for demo purposes only. As I demonstrated only run solution lines on hard surfaces outside such as driveways and sidewalks.

  20. Obviously Robert Allen! mike Camacho got one hell of a workout in.

  21. I may have taken the paint and a few wood chips off the door trim but I would have won this.

  22. I am very, very, intrigued by the no reel method!!!
You are saving money initially by not having to pay for the reels.
2/ You are saving A Lot of space in the back of the van.
3/ You do not have to worry about maintenance for the reels.

I think I just got converted to the no reel set up method!! 👍👍👍

    1. I have changed my mind two years later. The reel is a must have!
      It makes life easier. 😉

  23. One question … was the driveway not an option in the rules ?… look like it would have help … just a thought …but either way dam ole boy arms like pop pies from slinging hoses all day … good job brother

  24. Um I Would’ve parked on the drive way…?

    1. @TruckMountForums I do not you mentioned on separate videos , bleach tab inside waste tank ?… don’t forget bad scents… over all good video 👍👍… thanks

    2. Samuel Tamez I could have. But I didn’t want it to look like I had an advantage as his run was rather long. Squared the contest.

  25. I kinda liked the slower one.

  26. mike is wrapping up hoses from exactly where he set them up. so they are all still in a straight line. clean your way out of a house and most of the time the hoses are all twisted up to some degree. with no hose reels he would be untangling then straightening hoses to coil them up but he was pretty quick. no way id be that fast even with straight hoses.

  27. yeah but who can bench more lol

  28. For some, it’s not how fast, it’s how much??? Being Effective and EFFICIENT is what the job is about.

    1. Michael Marcus being efficient means fast to a degree. On might be able to do one or two jobs more a day and keep up the iicrc standard. The cream always rise to the top. Could be the difference of a job owner vs a business owner.

  29. Rob doesn’t go live vacuum line though? Never saw him start his TM or connect the vacuum…
He still would have been faster because he’s modern, but only by a slim margin because that dude is BUFF!

  30. Wow! That was impressive. The homes are different, so I am curious to know if the linear footage for the runs where comparable. Mike seemed to be parked further away from the home? Mike is using corner guards and rob is not. Rob is wearing shoe covers and Mike is not. All in all, impressive.

  31. yeah idid watch 2 sorry ass carpet cleaners i owne acompany i use buttler truck mount idont need to run like this

    1. what a jackass loco torres is i bet he uses a rug doctor and a nasty attitude to remove stains

    2. Just leave a comment either like it or Not But to say Sorry ass C.Cleaners? Way to deam wrong Both share killer info all the time, Learned a lot trough Rob¨s videos and Forum. Don¨t see no israel velasco Tech support or Web page related to Pro C.Cleaning. Just a very basic Hater cleaner thats all I see

    3. Thanks for your opinion. In meantime you might want to work on your grammar, punctuation and grasp on English language. Many onlookers may take you as a sorry ass also.

  32. Im tired now from watching this..thats why I have a helper..lol..i see the benefits of both ways really, Mike is more unconventional but he gets a little workout on each job and if it works for him cool..Rob’s more my approach, electric hose reel, shit my helper might quit if our hose reel broke..

  33. they both suck.

    1. hi im loco torres and i make 50 pesos a day

    2. israel velasco just jealous lol you clicked on the video and watched it in spite.

  34. Rob didn’t have corner guards and it looks like he just pulled all the hoses through the house rubbing them against the walls? Mike appears to be more careful with rugs, guards, and not rubbing his hoses around walls.
    Credit for both though.

    1. Besides scorching a stripe in the grass, I’ll reluctantly agree.

  35. The only time i remember being Speeding Gonzalez as you 2 when i received a message that my daughter broke her arm. Our biggest enemy is speed.

  36. Even tho rob won, i’ve never seen anyone roll up hoses like mike did. those 2″ vacuum hoses are a pain, he made it look too easy.

    1. Being in shape is also huge in this business.
One of the reasons why I do so is to give my clients confidence that I can perform the physical aspects of the cleaning optimally. Just completed a triathlon this weekend

    2. Hose reels are excellent for apartment cleaning as they help facilitate speed and you don’t really have to worry about being careful. My setup is geared for my client base. I don’t do property management or apartments. All really nice homes so I have to be extremely careful with my surroundings… Laying out precisely and limiting damage are paramount in high end homes. Everyone has a style that fits the clients you service. This is something for newbies to consider

    3. Yes. I was going to say the same thing

    4. Fact

    5. That’s exactly why I liked him better. There’s a good chance you will have an audience (the people’s house you’re cleaning) the slower guy looked cooler. It was like he put on a show.

  37. No contest Rob killed Mike…..

  38. This was actually informative now I see where I can improve at

  39. I need help. I hope someone can help me.. So I don’t have enough money to get a whole unit. N I was thinking to get a portable extractor. For $2100 and 12 gallon psi 500 wit a heater. 3 stage vacuum. It’s that enough? N how much psi it suppose to b to clean a carpet.. Plz help me n thank u

    1. Yes thats good i use a portable 500 psi with 2 6.6 2 stage vacs and i have put 200 ft of hose and it worked grate i normaly dont put that much hose put this time i had to. I also have another portable with 300 psi and 2 3 stage vacs that will take 100 ft of 2″ hose so your good with your set up.

    2. That set up is good. I use 300 psi for my residential and a little higher for my commercial.

  40. I have to do solution hose last, even after my machine is hot.
Darn cold temperatures. The cold will keep you on your game also.
You guys are fast. Next time check your oil on your TM, just to rub-it-in 😉

  41. sleeveless shirt? REALLY?

    1. This contest was for cleaners to see, Not prospects. This was done at my own home.

    2. @TruckMountForums Thanks partner. In southern Colorado it is hard to find anyone with carpet cleaning experience. Going to hit the market at a different angle and a really good follow up plan. See how it goes.

    3. Very good. You have the right attitude. I think you will be just fine. Congrats.

    4. @TruckMountForums Thank you. I am just starting a carpet cleaning business and hope to appear professional.

    5. +Lou Montana It was just a demo contest at his own house. Im sure he doesn’t go with tank tops to clients homes.

  42. Hey mike 1990 called and said they want their hose cuffs back ;@)

    1. +david mahoney haha

  43. dude took only a little longer than rob….and look what kind of shape he’s in…that’s why i refuse after 27 years to buy an
    electric hose reel

  44. Camacho used Corner Guards and doesnt even use reels… very good. I only use vac reel and roll soluton line manually. Trip1; wand, pre & solution ( around my neck ) roll back to van trip2 Start machine (roll vac in figure 8 like Rob and connect) grab corner guards drop on way.done.

  45. The guy with reels sets up very similar to how I do and my timing would be quite close to his. The guy humping all is hoses however, I must say is fast and good at it. Not quite as fast as having reels but I noticed he’s got a ton of room left in the van and things are very orderly and quite organized. Way to go both of you.

  46. rob allan had long vacuum house stays hued up into  and his truck was gone  rob allan  WON

  47. awesome video fellas.

  48. Awesome! I love the side by side video!
